About Us

Welcome to The Official Website of the International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, and Optimization Techniques (ICEEOT) - 2016 is being organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, DMI College of Engineering, Palanchur, Nazarethpet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. An IEEE student branch of DMI college is providing the technical sponsorship to ICEEOT-2016. The aim of the conference is to bring Students, Engineers, Researchers and Scientists to single platform for share their knowledge and ideas in the recent trends in the field of Engineering, Science and Technology.

About the college

DMI College of Engineering is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi was established in the year 2001 by the Society of Daughters of Mary Immaculate and collaborators under the vibrant guidance of Rev. Fr. Dr. J. E. Arulraj. The vision of this institution is to promote self disciplined, academic excellence and to mould young community through science and technology. This institution also commits itself to promote self disciplined, holistic and academic excellence among the marginalized, oppressed and disadvantaged sections of the society so as to mould persons in pursuance of making a better human life through science and technology.

About the Department of EEE

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was one of the first few disciplines that were started one year after the inception of the college in the year 2002 with 60 students at the entry level. The Department has secured Permanent Affiliation from Anna University  for 5 years. The Department started a PG program M.E. – Power Electronics & Drives in the year 2009. The focus of the department is to produce graduates and post graduates with strong fundamentals in electrical and electronics domain and experience in the latest happenings of the industry, so that they can meet the upcoming challenges in the field. The undergraduate program provides a strong foundation in the fundamentals of engineering and science and a variety of electives to tailor studies to a specific technical interest. With a firm grounding in the basics, DMI Electrical and Electronics students are well prepared for either post graduate studies or the high-tech corporate environment. Information for Authors 

  1. Camera ready manuscript should not exceed 6 pages in length and should use IEEE template Click here to download the paper format
  2. The paper should be converted to IEEE compatible PDF format by using IEEE pdf express (will be updated soon).
  3. Submit the final version of the camera ready paper (after verifying its IEEE pdf compatibility through PDF eXpress check) before due submission deadline.
  4. In order to include the accepted paper in the final program and the proceedings, at least one author must register separately for each accepted paper on or deadline (see in Important dates) Please note that one registration fee will cover only one participant.
  5. Accepted papers without registration, copyright form, and camera ready manuscript will not appear neither in the final program nor in the proceedings. 
  6. After payment of the registration fee, save the proof of the payment as a PDF file of size less than 2MB (scanned copy of the deposit slip or online transaction receipt).
